The Motorola DP3600 Programmable Display Professional Digital Motorsport Radio System is a flexible pit-to-car communications solution for larger teams and competitors who need to manage multiple cars, race series and configured channel plans. The programmable display lets the team select the required car, team channel or Race Radio where those channels have been correctly configured for the event.

This is a dual-purpose professional system. It can monitor the appropriate Race Radio while also providing permitted pit-to-car and car-to-pit team communications through compatible radios, intercoms and helmet systems. Who is the DP3600 system for?

The DP3600 suits multi-car teams, endurance competitors, rally and off-road teams, and competitors who move between more than one configured race series. It is the better choice when channel selection flexibility matters more than a single fixed event setup.

Race Radio monitoring and channel flexibility

The system can be configured for the race and team communication requirements supplied before ordering. Possible configurations include Race Radio, GT Members, Toyota Race Radio, NZGT Digital, MEGA, Quin and other event or team channels where the equipment, programming and licensing support them. Confirm the event, class, venue, digital channel plan and permitted use before ordering.

Where an event requires competitors to monitor a one-way Race Radio, the appropriate monitoring function remains part of the system configuration. Do not transmit on a controlled one-way event channel.

DP3600 or DP3400?

The Motorola DP3400 system suits competitors who use a defined channel setup programmed before the event. The DP3600 is the step up for teams running multiple cars, multiple series or events where the team needs greater channel selection flexibility.

The system does not include a helmet, helmet kit, microphone, speakers or earpieces. These are selected separately to suit the helmet, intercom and class requirements. A radio licence is also not included.

Frequently asked questions

Can the DP3600 monitor Race Radio as well as provide team communications?

Yes. When correctly configured, the professional system can combine Race Radio monitoring with permitted pit-to-car and car-to-pit communication. It does not remove any event requirement to monitor the appropriate Race Radio.

Can I manage multiple cars from one pit radio?

The DP3600 is designed for teams that need to select configured car or team channels from the programmable display. Confirm the required multi-car channel plan before ordering.

Can I switch between different race-radio frequencies from the display?

Configured Race Radio and event channels can be selected from the display where the equipment, programming and event permissions support that use.

Is this system suitable for digital race-radio systems?

Does the system include a radio licence?
