Helmet Standards — What Do You Need?
SA2025 is the latest Snell motorsport standard, but a new standard does not automatically make every helmet eligible for every NZ or AU event. Check the actual SA, FIA or karting label on the exact helmet, its condition and fit, and your current event and category rules. SA2020 and FIA-labelled helmets may be relevant depending on those rules; do not rely on a universal acceptance date or assume a particular FIA standard is required across all international events.
