Radio use in New Zealand and Australia
US-programmed and GMRS radios are not legal to operate in NZ or AU. A US GMRS motorcycle setup is not a locally certified UHF CB system. For local UHF CB use, Harris Race Radios™ supplies NZ- or AU-certified CB radios appropriate to the country. Ask us to check the exact model, certification, programming and headset connections before choosing a radio or riding with a group. VHF business-band use has separate licensing and operating requirements; do not assume a listed radio is authorised for your use.
