Compare Fastmate Racing RaceSense tyre gauges and accessories for practical motorsport pressure and temperature checks in New Zealand and Australia. Choose the instrument first, then match its probe and hose to the measurements and access your vehicle needs.
Choose Your RaceSense Equipment
- RaceSense Digital Tyre Gauge & Needle Pyrometer / Logger: compare the gauge and probe configurations for pressure measurement and tread-temperature recording.
- RaceSense Pocket: compare the compact gauge option and its exact supplied equipment.
- RaceSense Mini Adjustable Tyre Probe: a low-profile temperature probe for restricted access. A compatible measuring instrument is required; check your exact gauge and connection before ordering.
- RaceSense Pocket Extension Hose: a pressure-measurement accessory for access to tyre valves, not a temperature-probe extension.
Make Your Tyre Data Useful
Use a repeatable routine when comparing hot and cold pressures and tread temperatures. Record the vehicle, tyre set and session, and measure at consistent positions and depths. Car setup, track conditions and driving style affect readings; no single reading or tool guarantees optimum performance.
For circuit racing and track days, keep the time between leaving the circuit and taking readings consistent. For karting, compare your records with the tyre supplier's guidance rather than transferring another kart's pressures directly. Rally, speedway and offroad conditions can vary between stages or runs, so record the surface and conditions alongside your measurements.

Probe Fitment and Care
Confirm compatibility with the exact instrument rather than assuming every RaceSense accessory fits every gauge. Follow the probe instructions and choose a safe insertion depth for the actual tread thickness. Excessive depth can puncture a tyre; insert into tread blocks, not grooves or sidewalls, and take care with worn tyres.
For the Mini probe, the recommended 3–5mm depth applies only where the actual tread safely permits. Its 15mm maximum mechanical adjustment is not a safe insertion recommendation and can puncture most tyres. Protect the needle from sideways loading and allow readings to stabilise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are all products here complete gauges?
No. The range includes gauges and separate accessories. Check each listing's supplied equipment before ordering.
Does every probe fit every RaceSense gauge?
Check the exact model, connector and temperature-measurement capability. Do not assume compatibility from the brand name alone.
Pressure or temperature: which should I measure?
They provide different information. Use pressure and tread-temperature readings together with your setup records and tyre guidance where appropriate.
