The higher-output Upgraded Harris Speedway receiver
The Harris Upgraded Race Radio is the middle option in our Speedway receiver range. It keeps the practical features of the standard Harris receiver but provides higher audio output, making it a better choice when Race Control audio needs more presence through helmet speakers or in a noisy race environment.
Why choose the upgraded Harris?
- Higher audio output than the standard Harris receiver
- UHF 400–500 MHz transceiver with up to 16 programmable channels
- Rechargeable battery included and charged by USB
- 3.5 mm adapter for compatible earbuds, headphones or helmet speakers
- Receive-only Speedway and MSNZ setup, with no transmission on the programmed Race Control channels
Speedway and MSNZ programming
When purchased from Harris Race Radios, we can program the receiver for Speedway or MSNZ one-way channels at no extra charge. Default options can include Speedway NZ with or without CTCSS and MSNZ with or without CTCSS. CTCSS is the tone used by Race Control on supported channels. Public channels can be requested where appropriate. Confirm the correct option and event requirements before ordering.
Read the Race Radios™ monitoring and motorsport communications guide for primary event programming, one-way Race Control listening and the difference between receiver and professional dual-purpose systems.
This is the right step up when you want better audio than the entry-level receiver without moving to the premium Nitro Bee. For our loudest, clearest and best overall Speedway receiver, choose the Nitro Bee Xtreme. For the practical budget option, compare the standard Harris Speedway Transceiver.
Add the matching helmet speakers, earbuds, holder, adapter or spare battery from the Speedway receiver parts, helmet audio and accessories.
