Chillout Quantum Pro Driver Cooling System

The Chillout Quantum Pro is a high-output, iceless driver cooler for endurance racing, off-road competition and demanding hot-cockpit installations. Its rotary micro-compressor delivers up to 500 W of cooling, circulating chilled coolant through a compatible driver garment without an ice reservoir to replenish.

Cooling for long stints and demanding conditions

Dual internal brushless fans help manage system temperature under load. The aluminium housing weighs approximately 4.99 kg, with a removable mounting arrangement for quick transfers between correctly prepared mounting locations.

The cooler is designed around 4-inch ducting. Plan the air supply and heat-discharge path for your installation so the unit is not repeatedly drawing in its own hot exhaust air. Actual cooling performance depends on ambient conditions, airflow, coolant flow and the connected heat load.

Maximum pump flow, pressure and head are specification limits, not a promise that all maxima occur simultaneously through a connected garment. The supplied operating range is not a guaranteed coolant-temperature range.

Power and installation planning

The manufacturer specifies under-18-amp operation for Eco Mode. Do not treat that as the unit’s maximum draw in every mode or condition. Confirm current manufacturer requirements for supply voltage, wiring, fuse protection and operating mode before installation.

Mount the cooler securely, protect wiring and hoses, and position connections so they do not obstruct controls, harnesses or driver exit. A Quantum Pro/V3 remote control is available separately for installations out of reach of the driver.

Complete your driver-cooling installation

Compare the FIA/SFI Pro Touring cooling shirt and SFI Pro Touring Sport shirt according to your required garment rating. Choose compatible insulated cooling hoses and the correct dual-prong or single-tube connectors for the actual system. Connector types are not automatically interchangeable.

Follow the manufacturer’s coolant, cleaning, inspection and storage procedures. Iceless cooling removes the need to replenish ice; it does not remove routine system care.
