Frequently Asked Questions
What is a K2 connector?
The K2 is a multi-pin connector used on Kenwood NEXEDGE digital radios and select TK series models. It differs from the K1 (2-pin) connector used on older TK series radios — if you have a NEXEDGE NX or TK-2140/3140 series radio, you need the K2 cable.
What is the difference between K1 and K2 Kenwood cables?
The K1 connector is a 2-pin connector used on older Kenwood TK series radios (TK208–TK3360). The K2 connector is used on newer Kenwood NEXEDGE and TK-2140/3140 series radios. Check your radio model against the compatibility list above, or see our Connector Guide.
Will this cable work with my Kenwood NX200 or NX300?
Yes — the NX200 and NX300 use the K2 connector and are fully compatible with this cable.
Do you ship to Australia?
Yes. Harris Race Radios ships to Australia with NZ stock held locally for fast dispatch.
