What connector does the Motorola GP328 use?

The Motorola GP328 uses the M4 connector. This cable is a direct connect solution — no adaptor required. It also fits the GP329, GP338, GP340, HT1250, PRO5150, and other M4 connector Motorola radios listed above.

Is this the same cable as the Motorola 2-pin (M1) cable?

No — the M4 and M1 are different connectors. The M1 2-pin cable fits CP, CLS, and SP series Motorola radios. The GP328 requires the M4 direct connect cable on this page. Using the wrong cable will not fit.

Will this cable work with the Motorola GP340?

Yes — the GP340 uses the same M4 connector as the GP328 and is fully compatible with this cable.

Does this cable work with the Motorola DP3400?
