Aim Gps09 Module

The AiM GPS09 module enhances the track mapping capabilities of AiM data loggers and dash loggers, taking performance to the next level. With the GPS09, lap timing, including split times, is possible without relying on trackside beacons. It can store data for up to 50 tracks, with up to 5 splits per track, providing comprehensive coverage for your racing needs. In addition to lap timing, the GPS09 calculates and logs speed, lateral and longitudinal g-forces, and precise vehicle positioning.

As the latest version in its series, the GPS09 boasts a significantly faster 25 Hz sampling rate, an upgrade from the previous 10 Hz, and offers improved positional accuracy to within less than one foot, a substantial improvement from the previous 2 meters. This advanced module fully leverages Race Studio 3's powerful integration of GPS, video, and data, making it an essential tool for serious racers.

The AIM GPS technology represents a true revolution in data acquisition. With our GPS software, you can immediately get lap times and all the data needed for improving your driving performance and technique.

The GPS Module is connected via a CAN cable which makes it quick and simple to install.

Aim Gps09 Module Used With

AiM MXL2/ MXG/MXP/MXS auto dashes, EVO4S/EVO5 data loggers, and SmartyCam HD GP 2.2.

SmartyCam Note: Only the SmartyCam HD GP 2.2 takes this version. SmartyCam HD, SmartyCam HD GP, and SmartyCam HD 2.1 all require the addition of the AiM SmartyCam/GPS Data Hub to connect to the 4-pin GPS port.

MXL / EVO3 / MyChron4 Note: This version is only compatible with the latest-generation loggers; it is not backwards-compatible with the first-gen MXL, the EVO3, or the MyChron4.

Solo2/Solo2DL, MXm, and MyChron5 do not use an external GPS module; all GPS functions are internal.
