AiM MXP 6-inch Dash Logger
The AiM MXP combines a high-contrast 6-inch TFT display with motorsport data logging, configurable display pages, ECU connectivity, sensor inputs, alarms, and Race Studio 3 support. It is designed for circuit racing, track cars, race engineering, and other applications where the driver needs clear live information and the team needs usable session data.
Product fitment matters. ECU protocols, sensors, wiring, GPS options, CAN modules, and display functions depend on the exact vehicle and installation. Confirm the harness, ECU connection, and expansion hardware before ordering.
Display and driver information
- 6-inch high-contrast TFT display with 800 × 480 pixel resolution.
- Listed brightness of 700 cd/m², up to 1,100 lumens.
- Ambient light sensor for display brightness control.
- Configurable pages for live vehicle, engine, and driver information.
- Ten integrated RGB shift LEDs with configurable patterns and gear-specific settings.
- Freely configurable alarm icons for events and warnings.
The display pages, alarm conditions, colours, priorities, flashing behaviour, shift-light patterns, and shown measurements are configured for the vehicle and driver.
ECU, CAN, and sensor integration
- ECU acquisition through supported CAN, RS232, and K-Line protocols.
- Eight configurable analogue inputs, up to 1,000 Hz each.
- Digital inputs for supported speed, lap, and coil-RPM signals.
- Three CAN connections, including compatible expansion modules.
- Two digital outputs, rated at 1 A maximum each.
- Wi-Fi connectivity for configuration, calibration, and data transfer.
- Analogue camera input for compatible mirror-camera applications.
- Internal three-axis accelerometer and gyroscope for supported vehicle-dynamics data.
- 4 GB internal memory.
The MXP can use compatible GPS, channel-expansion, thermocouple, lambda-controller, ABS, traction-control, and SmartyCam-related equipment where the vehicle wiring and configuration support it. Do not assume compatibility solely because a device uses CAN. Confirm the AiM part, pinout, driver, and configuration first.
Race Studio 3 workflow
Race Studio 3 is used to configure supported channels, display pages, alarms, shift lights, ECU drivers, maths channels, track information, and data-analysis workflows. It also supports session downloads and analysis for compatible AiM devices.

Use the AiM Race Studio 3 Knowledge Hub for ECU channels, CAN, maths channels, Wi-Fi, data analysis, firmware, and troubleshooting. Visit AiM Downloads & Documentation for official live AiM software, firmware, and product-documentation sources.

Confirm installation clearance, connector access, harness routing, power supply, ECU connection, and sensor wiring for the actual vehicle before installation.
Official AiM MXP and Race Studio videos
These official AiM videos support the MXP workflow across display configuration, data transfer, firmware, and Race Studio 3. They are general workflow resources, so the available functions still depend on the connected vehicle and AiM configuration.
