The Stilo Venti4 WRC Carbon Helmet is the latest evolution of Stilo's legendary WRC rally helmet — following over 20 years of World Championship-winning heritage. Certified to FIA 8859-2024 and Snell SA2025, the Venti4 Carbon is 8–10% lighter than the previous Venti WRC Carbon, thanks to Stilo's revolutionary PURO pre-preg carbon technology. From just 1,120 g in the small shell, it is the lightest FIA 8859-2024 certified rally helmet in the Stilo range — the choice of clubman and professional rally competitors who demand the latest specification helmet with world-class built-in intercom.
Looking for the composite version? See the Venti4 WRC Composite — same FIA 8859-2024 & SA2025 certification, composite shell, approximately 15% heavier than the carbon. For a full-face rally helmet, see the ST6 F Rally Carbon. For cross-country and raid racing, see the WRX Venti Raid Carbon.
Technical Specifications
Shell — PURO Pre-Preg Carbon Fibre
The Venti4 WRC Carbon uses Stilo's PURO pre-preg carbon technology — a revolutionary manufacturing process developed in recent years to remain at the forefront of motorsport safety technology. The existing Stilo Venti size structure means average head sizes are catered for in small and medium shell sizes, keeping shell size and weight as low as possible.
Weight by shell size:
- Small Shell (XS 54cm, S 55cm, M 57cm, L 58cm): ~1,120 g — 8–10% lighter than the previous Venti WRC Carbon
- Medium Shell (L 59cm, XL 61cm): ~1,260 g
- Large Shell (XXL 63cm, XXXL 64cm): ~1,360 g
Approximately 15% lighter than the Venti4 WRC Composite variant.
Why it matters: In rally and off-road racing, every gram on your head is amplified by vibration and sustained G-forces over long stages. The Venti4 Carbon's PURO shell delivers maximum protection at minimum weight — reducing neck fatigue and improving focus over a full day of competition.
Certifications — FIA 8859-2024 & Snell SA2025
FIA 8859-2024 is the current FIA homologation standard for rally and circuit helmets, requiring helmets to manage impacts and absorb energy up to 14% better than the previous standard for premium helmets — achieved without greatly increasing overall mass. Snell SA2025 is the current Snell Memorial Foundation standard, independently tested without manufacturer involvement. Dual certification future-proofs your investment as series regulations transition through 2025–2027.
WRC Electronics — Integrated Intercom
The Venti4 WRC Carbon features Stilo's full WRC electronics package built into the shell — an adjustable noise-cancelling microphone, rally ear cups with improved sound insulation, and the new Nexus connection developed to further protect against plug damage. Compatible with all Stilo WRC wired and wireless intercoms (WL-10, WL-Key, DG, WRC series).
Why it matters: In rally, clear communication between driver and co-driver is a safety-critical function. The Venti4's integrated WRC electronics and improved sound insulation ensure reliable, clear communication even in the noisiest cockpit environments.
Ventilation & Top Air System
Ventilation holes in the shell reduce heat, sweat, and moisture during competition. The Venti4 WRC Carbon allows the use of the Top Air System for extremely hot environments — connecting to an in-car cold air supply for active cooling during long stages.
Visor & Accessories
A range of customisation accessories is available for the Venti4, including tinted visors developed for either bright sun or low light/rain, and screw kits to pivot these visors underneath the existing peak when not in use. The Nexus connection is designed to further protect against damage to plugs during driver changes and stage starts.
Bespoke Fitting

Audio Connector — How It Works
The Venti4 WRC Carbon uses Stilo's EzyFlow audio connector system. Select your audio connector option on this page. Harris Race Radios fits your chosen connector directly to the helmet before dispatch.

- EarMuff / Speakers — Large padded ear cups with built-in speakers. Best for noisy rally and off-road environments. Provides passive noise isolation alongside clear audio. Most popular for intercom and radio use.
- Stilo Earbud Connector — Stilo's proprietary push-lock connector, exclusive to Stilo helmets. Not compatible with third-party earpieces without an adapter.
- 3.5mm Mono Connector — The most widely used audio connector in NZ, Australia, and the USA. Compatible with the majority of aftermarket earpieces and radio setups.
- RCA Connector — Predominantly used in European race teams and systems. Check your audio input type before selecting.
Not sure which connector suits your setup? Contact us and we'll match you to the right option.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Venti4 WRC Carbon legal for rally and off-road events in NZ and AU?
Yes — FIA 8859-2024 and Snell SA2025 certified, accepted by MSNZ and Motorsport Australia. Always verify current series regulations with your organiser.
How much lighter is the Venti4 WRC Carbon than the previous Venti WRC Carbon?
The Venti4 WRC Carbon is 8–10% lighter than the previous Venti WRC Carbon model, starting from 1,120 g in the small shell. It is also approximately 15% lighter than the Venti4 WRC Composite variant.
What is the difference between the Venti4 WRC Carbon and the Venti4 WRC Composite?
Both are FIA 8859-2024 and SA2025 certified with the same WRC electronics and open-face design. The Carbon uses Stilo's PURO pre-preg carbon shell, starting from 1,120 g — approximately 15% lighter than the Composite. The Composite is a lower price point option for competitors where weight saving is less critical.
What is PURO pre-preg carbon technology?
PURO is Stilo's proprietary carbon fibre manufacturing process using pre-impregnated carbon fibre, producing a lighter and stronger shell than conventional carbon layup methods. It is the same technology used in Stilo's top-level circuit racing helmets.
Does this helmet work with my Stilo WL wireless intercom?
Yes — compatible with all Stilo WRC wired and wireless intercoms including WL-10, WL-Key, DG, and WRC series.
Does this helmet include HANS posts?

How do I choose the right size?
Measure the widest circumference of your head above the ears in centimetres. When in doubt, size down — racing helmets should fit firmly with no movement. Contact Aaron Harris — MSNZ Licence Examiner for helmets — for sizing advice based on your head shape.
Do you hold stock in NZ and ship to Australia?
Yes — NZ stock held locally for fast dispatch. Australian orders ship with tracked courier.
