Frequently Asked Questions

What does the anti-backflow system do?
The anti-backflow valve prevents liquid from dripping out of the tube when you are not actively drinking. This keeps the helmet interior dry and prevents spills during a race.
How often should I replace the bite valve?
Replace the bite valve when it shows signs of wear, cracking, or discolouration, or periodically for hygiene. Having a spare on hand is recommended for endurance events.
Will this fit my Stilo drinking system?
Yes — this is the genuine Stilo replacement bite valve (YA0601) designed for the Stilo ST5, ST6 and Venti WRC helmet drinking systems. Contact Aaron Harris on +64 27 449 9654 to confirm compatibility if unsure.
Do you hold NZ stock?
Yes — Harris Race Radios holds genuine Stilo stock locally in NZ for fast dispatch. We also ship to Australia.
