We program a suitable selection of 26–35 channels on one compatible radio you already own or are purchasing from Harris Race Radios™. The selection depends on the radio’s exact make and model, supported channel plan and intended use. The charge is per radio, not per channel.

Compatible radio models

We program compatible, programmable models from Motorola, Kenwood, Rugged Radios and other brands where supported. Share the exact make and model so compatibility can be checked before ordering. A VHF-only radio cannot be programmed for UHF CB, and U.S.-only channel plans are not programmed for NZ or Australian UHF CB use.

UHF CB channels are shared, not private. Harris Race Radios™ can also help with private-channel programming for suitable radios where the required authorisation is in place. Some compatible Motorola and Kenwood models can monitor UHF race-management channels; monitoring is UHF-only and model-dependent.

Rex Harris is a qualified Radio Telecommunications Engineer and an Approved Radio Certifier authorised by RSM in New Zealand and ACMA in Australia. His motorsport radio communications experience began in 1975 at the Marlboro Series Grand Prix. Programming does not itself certify equipment or authorise transmission.
