NZ & AU 80-Channel UHF CB Radio Programming | Harris Race Radios™

NZ and Australian UHF CB radio programming

This listing is for programming only; no radio is included. We can program a suitable selection of channels on one compatible radio you already own or are purchasing from Harris Race Radios™. The selection depends on the radio’s exact make and model, supported channel plan and intended use. The charge is per radio, not per channel. This does not mean every radio is programmed with all 80 channels; capacity and supported functions vary by model.

What this service includes

• A model-appropriate UHF CB channel selection for New Zealand or Australian use, where supported
• Channel names where the radio supports them
• Programming for compatible radios, checked against the model’s supported channel plan

Compatibility and permitted use

Not all radios can be programmed for UHF CB. A VHF-only radio cannot be programmed for UHF CB. U.S.-only channel plans are not programmed for New Zealand or Australian UHF CB use. The radio must be suitable for the local service; programming alone does not certify equipment or authorise transmission.

Share the radio’s exact make and model before ordering so compatibility can be confirmed. Channel plans and operating requirements can differ between New Zealand and Australia. Custom channel plans are subject to the radio’s capabilities and any required authorisation.

Compare programming options

For a smaller channel selection, see 1–5 channel programming. For other compatible-radio programming tiers, compare 6–15 channels, 16–25 channels and 26–35 channels. Browse the Radio Programming collection.

Frequently asked questions

Does this service include a radio?

No. This listing is for programming only. We can program a compatible radio you already own or one you are purchasing from Harris Race Radios™; the radio itself is separate from this service.

Are all 80 UHF CB channels programmed into each radio?

No. We program a suitable selection of channels for each radio. The selection depends on the exact model, its supported channel plan and intended use.

Is the charge per radio or per channel?

The charge is per radio, not per channel.

Can any radio be programmed for UHF CB?

No. The radio must support UHF CB. A VHF-only radio cannot be programmed for UHF CB, and U.S.-only channel plans are not programmed for New Zealand or Australian UHF CB use. Ask us to check your exact model.

Does programming authorise me to transmit?

No. Programming does not certify the radio or grant permission to transmit. Check the equipment and operating requirements that apply to your location and service.
