The Chillout 3-inch carbon-fibre air plenum provides a 90° duct connection for routing air to a compatible cooling-system intake where cockpit space is limited. It can be orientated to face either direction to suit the installation.

Airflow and installation planning

The plenum routes air; it does not generate airflow or refrigerate the air itself. A suitable blower and complete duct route are required. The blower’s rated airflow is not a guarantee of delivered airflow through a restrictive installation.

Plan an appropriate air source and heat-discharge path. Avoid drawing hot exhaust air back into the cooler intake, and account for bends, duct length and restrictions. Follow the cooler and blower manufacturer’s instructions for mounting and ventilation.
