Bell GT6 RD Ultra Carbon Helmet — FIA 8859-2024 & SA2025

The Bell GT6 RD Ultra Carbon is purpose-built for closed cockpit racing where driver-to-crew radio communication is not optional — it’s essential. RD stands for Radio Device: this helmet ships with integrated noise-cancelling microphone and coiled cable already built in, so you’re ready to connect your radio system straight out of the box.

Built on the same HP6-inspired carbon fibre shell architecture as the open cockpit RS7 Ultra Carbon, the GT6 RD delivers the same Smartlock visor system, multi-density liner, and FIA 8859-2024 / SA2025 certification — configured specifically for GT, touring car, endurance, and closed cockpit applications. NZ stock held locally for fast dispatch, ships directly to Australia.

Key Features

  • FIA 8859-2024 approved & Snell SA2025 certified — compliant for MSNZ and Motorsport Australia closed cockpit racing, GT, endurance, and rally
  • Integrated radio comms (RD) — built-in noise-cancelling microphone with coiled cable and in-moulded male Nexus connector
  • RCA or 3.5mm audio output — connects to in-ear speakers or earpiece systems (available separately)
  • Ultra-lightweight carbon fibre shell — HP6-inspired design, superior stiffness-to-weight ratio
  • Smartlock visor system — push-button one-handed release, secure locking on impact
  • Clear anti-fog visor — crystal-clear visibility in all conditions
  • Multi-density foam liner — maximises energy absorption and impact protection
  • 14-channel ventilation — air extraction channels with optional side and top ports for external cooling
  • Hydration compatible — drink tube routing for endurance racing
  • Factory-fitted FHR (HANS) posts — ready for HANS/FHR device connection out of the box
