Stilo Touring Headsets — Rally & Motorsport Co-Driver Communication
Harris Race Radios™ supplies genuine Stilo touring headsets to New Zealand and Australian motorsport customers. Rex Harris's motorsport radio and communications experience dates from 1975; this is his experience, not the founding date of the business.
Aaron Harris is a racing driver and race engineer and a MotorSport NZ Licence Examiner for licences. His racing experience informs practical headset and helmet-communications guidance, but the licence role does not certify equipment. Rex Harris is an official New Zealand RSM Approved Radio Certifier and can advise on radio and intercom integration.
About Stilo Touring Headsets
Touring headsets offer over-ear listening and a boom microphone for communication outside a helmet, including rally road sections and service areas where their use is permitted. Compare the exact headset connector, intercom and radio before ordering; do not assume every Stilo WRC or ST30 setup uses the same lead. Earcup and boom details should be checked on the individual product listing.
Who Uses Touring Headsets?
- Rally drivers and co-drivers during permitted road sections and service stops
- Teams needing communication away from the competition vehicle
- Targa and touring participants where event rules allow a touring headset
Compatibility
For help matching a touring headset to a Stilo intercom and your radio system, contact Harris Race Radios™ with the exact intercom model, connector and radio details. Rex can advise on any adapter required.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a Stilo touring headset with my existing radio system?
Compatibility depends on the headset connector, intercom and radio. Send us the exact model details to check the required lead or adapter.
Do touring headsets replace a helmet for road sections?
A touring headset is not a protective helmet. Check your event's rules for when a helmet is required, including road sections and service areas; do not use a touring headset as a substitute where a helmet is mandatory.
Do you ship to Australia?
We supply customers in New Zealand and Australia. Ask us about availability and delivery for your order.
