The Racelogic RLCAB015L unterminated CAN interface cable connects a VBOX Video HD2 to the CAN High and CAN Low wires in a vehicle's wiring loom using a bare-wire connection.
Vehicle data for your VBOX Video HD2
Available CAN channels depend on the vehicle and the applicable CAN database. Common parameters include engine RPM, wheel speed and throttle position. Steering angle and brake-force data are available on some models; they are not guaranteed for every vehicle.
Specifications and wiring
- Brand: Racelogic
- Manufacturer part number: RLCAB015L
- Application: VBOX Video HD2 CAN interface
- Vehicle connection: unterminated bare wires
- CAN High: blue wire
- CAN Low: white wire
Confirm your logger connector, vehicle CAN support and the correct wiring documentation before installation. The RLCAB015L is distinct from the RLCAB015M and RLCAB015L-5 versions. Have the connection made by a technician familiar with the vehicle's CAN system.
Select the right VBOX connection
This is a vehicle-CAN interface cable, not a universal plug-and-play adaptor, USB storage lead or AiM connection cable. Compatible CAN definitions and correct logger configuration are still required. Vehicle channels can provide useful context when reviewing driving inputs during circuit testing, track days and driver coaching.
For an AiM connection, see the RLCAB145 VBOX HD2-to-AiM five-pin CAN cable. For USB recording, see the RLCAB073 USB data logging cable. These cables have different functions and are not interchangeable.
