SA2020 or SA2025 on the helmet is not, by itself, a visor fitment specification.

Choose a Tint for the Conditions

• Clear: maximum light transmission for low-light, overcast and applicable night-racing use.
• Light Smoke: a modest tint for changing daylight conditions.
• Dark Smoke: stronger glare reduction for bright daylight; check event restrictions before use.
• Amber Anti-Fog: amber tint and listed anti-fog treatment; confirm the actual variant's finish and suitability for your conditions.

The current listing describes approximately .125-inch shield thickness. Check the manufacturer's part number, shield profile, pivots and your helmet's model and production configuration before relying on any replacement as a direct fit. Do not use a cracked shield.

Fit and Installation Checklist

Using a genuine replacement part is sensible, but it does not automatically re-certify a damaged helmet or guarantee acceptance by a scrutineer. Helmet eligibility depends on the physical label, condition, configuration and current rules of the relevant NZ or Australian category and event.

Do not choose on the Snell year alone. Confirm the exact helmet model, original shield profile, pivot design and replacement part number. Send us photographs and the physical helmet label if you need help matching them.

Does replacing a visor preserve my helmet's certification?

A genuine, correctly fitted replacement is important, but changing a visor cannot automatically certify or restore a damaged helmet. Check the helmet's condition and current category and event requirements.
