Does this fit all Pyrotect helmets?
This shield is designed for Pyrotect SA2015 helmets. If you have a different Pyrotect model or are unsure, contact Aaron Harris for fitment confirmation before ordering.
What does the tinted tear off do?
The tinted tear off installs over the clear CruzArmor shield and reduces sun glare during daytime racing. When night falls or conditions change, simply peel it off — you're left with a fresh, clear, protected visor underneath.
Is CruzArmor a replacement for my visor or does it go over the top?
This product is a direct replacement shield for worn or cracked Pyrotect visors — it replaces the visor entirely. CruzArmor also makes overlay protection kits (the EZ-C range) that go over an existing visor.
Does the self-healing material actually work?
Yes — CruzArmor's patented material is designed to recover from minor surface scratches over time, particularly with exposure to warmth. It won't repair deep gouges, but everyday light scratching from sand, mud, and debris heals itself.
