This adapter cable connects a compatible Peltor or selected Bell helmet communication kit to a GT Members Nitro Bee race receiver, or with adapter other one way receivers. It gives drivers a tidy plug-in connection to receive one-way race-control or event communications through their helmet kit, without modifying the helmet wiring.

Before you order

Compatibility depends on the communication kit already fitted to your helmet, not simply the helmet shell model. This cable uses the yellow Peltor/Bell-style helmet connector and a black 3.5 mm stereo male receiver plug. If you are unsure whether your Bell or Peltor kit is compatible, contact Harris Race Radios with a clear photo of the helmet connector before ordering.

  • GT Members Nitro Bee receiver systems with a 3.5 mm stereo input
  • Compatible Peltor helmet communication kits
  • Selected compatible Bell helmet communication kits

Not suitable for

  • Stilo Trophy Rally helmet connections
  • Helmet kits with a different connector format
  • Receivers that require a mono 3.5 mm input, unless used with the appropriate stereo-to-mono adapter

What it connects

  1. Connect the yellow end to the compatible Peltor or Bell helmet kit.
  2. Connect the black 3.5 mm stereo plug to the compatible GT Members Nitro Bee receiver.
  3. Secure the cable so it cannot snag during driver entry, exit or normal control movement.

Receiver not included. Pair this cable with a compatible GT Race Radio receiver. For a direct fitment check, Harris Race Radios has supported motorsport communications since 1975, so send us a photo before you buy if the connector is unfamiliar.

Frequently asked questions

Will this work with every Bell helmet?

No. It works with selected compatible Bell helmet communication kits, not every Bell helmet or kit. Confirm the connector on the installed kit before ordering.

Will this work with every Peltor helmet kit?

No. The helmet kit must have the compatible yellow Peltor/Bell-style connector. Contact us with a photo if you need confirmation.

Is the receiver included?

No. This listing is for the adapter cable only. The compatible GT Members Nitro Bee receiver is sold separately.

Will it work with a Stilo Trophy Rally helmet?

No. This cable is not suitable for a Stilo Trophy Rally helmet connection.

Can I use it with a receiver that has a mono 3.5 mm input?

You will need the appropriate stereo-to-mono adapter. Confirm receiver compatibility before ordering.
