The Harris Professional 4-Pole Helmet Kit is mainly used by professional racers in New Zealand, Australia and the USA. Choose the 3.5mm (1/8-inch) or RCA earpiece-connection version to match your equipment. This is the four-pole product; the European five-pole helmet kit is a separate configuration.

A well-matched helmet communication setup helps drivers hear pit instructions and report handling or mechanical problems without repeated messages. In circuit and endurance racing, timely warnings about a leak, smoke, a loose panel or a damaged tyre can help a driver return to the pits before damage worsens. The helmet kit is one part of that system: the radio, earpieces, microphone interface, wiring and installation must work together.

Choose your earpiece connection

RCA and 3.5mm are alternative versions. Select the version that matches your earpieces. The earpiece socket and the four-pole system connector are separate connections; matching the socket alone does not establish compatibility with a radio or intercom.

Two-way pit-to-car communication and officials' one-way race-control reception serve different purposes. In New Zealand, check your category's Race Radio requirements; in Australia, check the applicable Race Management Channel (RMC) arrangements. In the USA, follow your series and event communications requirements. Plan the complete system around the required channels and monitoring arrangements. This helmet kit alone does not provide a radio or receiver.
