B-G Racing Dual Layer Air Ducting Hose — Black (4m)
The B-G Racing Dual Layer Air Ducting Hose is a high-temperature flexible ducting hose designed for motorsport brake cooling, radiator cooling, and intercooler ducting applications. The black dual-layer construction offers the same high-temperature performance as the B-G Racing orange ducting hose — the black finish suits installations where aesthetics matter or where the hose is visible in the engine bay or wheel arch.
At 4 metres (13.1 feet) per length, there is ample hose to route from the front splitter or bumper duct to the brake caliper or radiator inlet, with enough to trim to length on both ends. Available in four diameters to suit a wide range of applications from kart brake cooling through to large-diameter radiator ducting on circuit and rally cars.
Key Features
- High-temperature dual-layer construction — same heat rating as the B-G Racing orange ducting hose; suitable for direct brake cooling applications
- Flexible and lightweight — easy to route through tight spaces in wheel arches and engine bays
- 4 metres (13.1 ft) per length — trim to suit your installation
- Black finish — clean appearance for visible installations
-
Four diameters available:
- 1.5" (38mm) — ideal for kart and small car brake cooling
- 2" (51mm) — popular for circuit car brake cooling ducts
- 3" (76mm) — suits larger brake cooling and intercooler ducting
- 4" (102mm) — large-diameter radiator and intercooler ducting
Typical Applications
- Brake caliper and rotor cooling ducts
- Radiator inlet ducting
- Intercooler and oil cooler ducting
- Differential and gearbox cooling
- General motorsport air management

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the black hose the same temperature rating as the orange B-G Racing ducting hose?
Yes — the black dual-layer hose has the same high-temperature rating as the B-G Racing orange ducting hose. Both are suitable for direct brake cooling applications where the hose is exposed to significant heat.
What diameter do I need for brake cooling?
For most circuit cars, 2" (51mm) is the most common brake cooling duct diameter. Larger cars or those with significant brake heat (GT, touring car, endurance) may benefit from 3" (76mm). Karts and small formula cars typically use 1.5" (38mm).
Can I cut the hose to length?
Yes — the hose is supplied in a 4 metre (13.1 ft) length and can be cut to suit your installation with a sharp knife or scissors.
Is this available in NZ and Australia?
