NZ & AU Compliance — Important

This kit is supplied by Harris Race Radios configured for UHF CB operation (476–477 MHz, 80 channels) — the correct licence-free standard for NZ and AU.

  • UHF CB channels: Licence-free in NZ and AU. The RDM-DB operates on legal NZ & AU UHF CB channels out of the box.
  • VHF channels: Require a Radio licence in NZ and AU — not suitable for general off-road use without one.
  • USA GMRS radios: Illegal in NZ and AU. GMRS frequencies are not permitted under NZ RSM or AU ACMA regulations and cannot be reprogrammed to UHF CB.
