A simple kit combines what you need for antenna replacement in the field. It includes an NGP (No Ground Plane) UHF 1/2 wave antenna and a 3/8" NMO-style cable mount with 15 feet of coaxial cable.
Rugged radios' Simple UHF antenna kit combines what you need for antenna replacement in the field. It includes an NGP (No Ground Plane) UHF 1/2 Wave antenna and a 3/8" NMO style cable mount with 15 feet of coaxial cable.
"No Ground Plane" means the antenna does not have to be attached to a metal surface (such as a vehicle roof or larger body panel). Although using a ground plane is always better, this NGP antenna performs great for all uses, drivers, teams, and applications.
Moulded high heat ABS mounting base features silver-soldered connections, gold-plated push-pin contacts and an O-ring.
The UHF antenna is already pre-tuned (cut) for UHF application. Simply order, mount, and ride!
