These Schroth twist-type helmet anchors provide the helmet-side connection for a compatible Schroth Twist Anchor frontal head restraint (FHR) tether. If you are replacing posts or setting up a helmet, check the helmet receptacles and tether type before ordering: a matching connection matters more than a similar-looking clip.

Fitment and safety checks

Use these anchors only with Schroth Twist Anchor FHR tethers. Do not assume they fit a standard clip-on HANS/FHR tether or every FIA- or Snell-labelled helmet. Confirm your helmet has the correct M6 receptacles, and check the anchor, tether, helmet label and installation instructions as a complete system. These Schroth anchors are FIA 8858-2010 approved and made in Germany. Check the current rules of your NZ or Australian category and event before racing.
