The NecksGen REVX Lite is a lightweight carbon-fibre composite FHR device and head and neck restraint for motorsport drivers in New Zealand, Australia and other racing markets. Its low-profile chassis and ergonomic X-shaped layout are designed to give the driver freedom of movement with minimal interference around the seat and spine area.

The adjustable X-strap system helps hold the device securely in place while driving and keeps it positioned during entry and exit. Strap adjustment is straightforward, with a double-adjustable tactical buckle at the front and vertically adjustable chest straps to help accommodate different driver shapes. Adjustable tether length allows the restraint to be set to suit the seat angle and the driver's neck length.

Harness and belt compatibility

The REVX Lite is currently available with 3-inch-wide belt guides that work with either 3-inch or 2-inch shoulder belts. The 3-inch chassis is available with Medium/Large or XL+ harness accommodation. Medium/Large is intended to fit most adults, while XL+ is intended for adults who would typically wear a 2XL shirt or larger. Use the manufacturer's sizing chart to confirm the best option before ordering.

Three-point harness information

The manufacturer states that the REVX has been shown to reduce neck loads under impact when tested to NHTSA FMVSS 208 standards using a 3-point belt. The manufacturer recommends racing with at least a 5-point harness where available. Always confirm the restraint, harness and helmet combination is permitted by the rules for your NZ or Australian race series and accepted by the relevant scrutineer.
