  • Standard shipping is $14 NZD, including helmets. Any separate rates for seats or trolleys are shown at checkout.
  • Delivered by NZ Couriers or Post Haste.

  • Free local pickup is available from 15 Michael Road, Paraparaumu 5032.

Australia:

  • Shipping is calculated from the combined estimated shipping weight of the items in your basket. Your rate is shown in AUD at checkout.
  • Orders over 20kg require a separately priced freight quote before purchase. Please contact HRR.
  • OMP seats and trolleys are available for New Zealand delivery only.
  • Delivered by Asendia, DHL Express or FedEx.

This is the genuine AiM rechargeable battery suitable for the MyChron 5 kart data logger, replacing a worn original battery or serving as a spare for race day.

Before ordering

  • Confirm you have a MyChron 5 (not MyChron 6) before ordering, as batteries are not interchangeable between generations.
  • Charge fully before first use with the matching MyChron 5 magnetic charger.
  • Keep a charged spare on hand for race day if you run back-to-back sessions.

Will this fit my MyChron 6?

No, this battery is for MyChron 5 only. MyChron 6 uses a different battery.

How do I charge it?

Use the matching MyChron 5 magnetic charger, sold separately, to charge the battery either in or out of the unit depending on your charger.

Can I run my MyChron 5 without the rechargeable battery?

Yes, using the MyChron 5 external power cable and battery blanking cover, you can run the unit directly from a 12V source instead of the internal battery.

Can Harris Race Radios help if my MyChron 5 isn't holding charge?

Yes. Contact us with your symptoms and we can advise whether a new battery or a different fix is needed.
