Icom Bolt-On Fly Lead Jumper Cable

The Icom Bolt-On Fly Lead Jumper Cable connects a compatible Icom handheld radio to a suitable motorsport wiring harness or intercom interface. The later PCI Race Radios screw-on (bolt-on) version replaces the unavailable earlier cable and is now available from Harris Race Radios™. Match both ends of the connection before ordering: the radio accessory port and the harness or intercom interface.

Choose the correct Icom connection

Icom 5131 compatibility: F1000, F2000, F3001, F3011, F4001, F4011, F11, F21, F3, F4, F10, F20, IC-21, IC-H2, IC-H6, J12, M5, U12 and U16. Match the harness or intercom connection separately. For a model not listed, send us your radio model and a photo of the accessory port before ordering.

These are different products; check the required cable arrangement rather than buying both by default.

Why the complete setup matters

In circuit racing, clear driver–pit communication lets the crew alert a driver to a fluid leak, flat tyre or loose panel and coordinate a timely return to the pits. Correctly matched radio, helmet audio, microphone, push-to-talk and cabling help make those instructions usable in a noisy race car.

Plan NZ one-way Race Control reception, or Australia's Race Management Channel (RMC), alongside two-way team communication. Confirm the exact event channel and suitable radio configuration; this cable does not add a monitoring function or authorise transmission on a listen-only channel.
