The complete factory-fit communication solution for the 2025 and newer Polaris RZR Pro R, Pro S, and Pro XP. This kit integrates a Bluetooth intercom and a legally compliant UHF CB or VHF radio — programmed specifically for Australian and New Zealand regulations straight out of the box.

Important: This Kit Is Different From the US Version

The Rugged Radios kit sold in the United States includes a GMRS radio. GMRS radios are illegal to operate in New Zealand and Australia — they operate on frequencies not allocated for civilian use under RSM (NZ) or ACMA (AU) regulations.

This Australasian kit replaces the US GMRS radio with one of two legally compliant options:

• RMD-DB (CB option) — UHF CB radio, programmed for AU 80-channel UHF CB (ACMA compliant) and NZ UHF CB frequencies. No licence required.
• M1 (VHF option) — VHF radio for licence-required operations and marine VHF frequencies. Suitable for professional teams, marine environments, and licensed operators.

Both are remote head intercoms that mount cleanly into the RZR dash. The RRP696 PLUS delivers high fidelity audio and is the most popular choice for offroad use. The STX Stereo adds true stereo output for riders who prioritise music quality. Both include Bluetooth phone and music integration.

Can I add a second seat intercom for a passenger?

Yes — both the RRP696 PLUS and STX Stereo support multiple helmet connections. A passenger PTT is included as standard. Additional helmet kits and intercom cables are available separately. Contact us to configure a multi-seat setup.
