Who Uses Bell Rally Helmets?
Open-face helmets are used by some rally drivers and co-drivers for visibility and compatible in-car communication. The HP10 Carbon Rally 8860 is a higher-homologation option; choose it for the standard and fit you actually need, not because another driver uses it.

MAG-10 vs HP10
Compare the label on the exact MAG-10 variant with the HP10's FIA 8860-2018 homologation. Some MAG-10 products carry FIA 8859-2024 or SA2025 labels; do not assume every MAG-10 has both or is automatically accepted in all events. The HP10 may suit a category that requires FIA 8860-2018. Check current MotorSport NZ Schedule A, Motorsport Australia and series rules, especially for open-face helmet and FHR use.
Carbon, Composite and Fit
Shell material affects the model's weight, price and design, but a carbon helmet is not automatically the safest or best-fitting choice for every driver. Compare actual weights and sizes on the listings. Measure head circumference and trial the correct model; the number on a chart is only a starting point.
Intercom and FHR Posts
Some Bell rally models include factory communications; others need an appropriate audio configuration. A Nexus-style connector is not proof of compatibility with every ZeroNoise, Stilo, Rugged, Sparco or Peltor unit: check the exact pinout and adapter. Likewise, verify FHR post fitment on the specific helmet and current event rules rather than assuming every model is supplied identically.
