Why We Recommend This Mirror
In circuit and endurance racing, driver awareness matters when faster cars are approaching or conditions change around the vehicle. A convex rear view mirror can provide a broader rearward view than a standard flat mirror, while roll-cage mounting keeps it positioned within the cockpit. It should be used alongside flags, spotters, and normal race procedures, not as a replacement for them.

Which Mirror Size Should I Choose?
15\" mirror: A more compact option for tighter cockpits, rally cars, off-road vehicles, and applications where space around the driver is limited.
17\" mirror: Provides a larger mirror surface and is commonly suited to circuit, GT, touring, and endurance cars where maximum rear visibility is a priority.
The best size depends on your cockpit width, seating position, roll cage layout, and the rear visibility you need. Check the dimensions below before ordering.
Choose the Correct Roll Cage Bracket
Select the bracket option that matches the outside diameter of your roll cage bar. The available options are 1.5\", 1.7\", 1.75\", 2\", or no bracket if you already have a suitable mounting solution.
- 1.5\" and 1.7\" brackets: supplied with rubber inserts for secure fitment
- 1.75\" and 2\" brackets: designed for the corresponding roll cage bar size
- No bracket: choose this only if you already have a compatible way to mount the mirror
Common Motorsport Applications
- Circuit and club racing cars
- GT and endurance race cars
- Rally cars
- Off-road and side-by-side vehicles
- Touring and performance vehicles with a compatible roll cage
Installation and Adjustment
Before ordering, measure the outside diameter of the roll cage bar where the mirror will be mounted and confirm that the selected bracket matches. Position the mirror so the driver has a useful rearward view without interfering with the helmet, steering wheel, harnesses, or other cockpit equipment.
After mounting, adjust the mirror angle using the slotted brackets and wing knobs, then check that the mount is secure and the mirror remains clear through normal vehicle movement. Recheck the mounting hardware as part of regular race-car preparation.
