AiM MXm Motorsport Dash Logger

The AiM MXm is a compact motorsport dash logger for racers who need clear live information and usable session data without the size of a larger 6- or 7-inch display. It can show speed, lap times, RPM, temperatures, pressures, ECU channels, GPS data, alarms, and supported calculated channels.

The MXm is designed to be configurable for both new and experienced users, with custom display pages, selectable backlight colours, shift lights, alarm LEDs, Wi-Fi configuration and data transfer, and expansion support for compatible AiM systems.

Fitment matters. ECU protocols, sensors, wiring, GPS data, Lambda Controller use, and SmartyCam integration depend on the exact vehicle and installation. Contact Harris Race Radios before ordering if you need help selecting the correct harness or configuration.

MXm Data Sources and Expansion

  • ECU data through supported CAN, RS232, or K-Line protocols.
  • GPS and track information through the supported AiM GPS system and configuration.
  • Internal motion data from the accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer.
  • Analogue and digital inputs for compatible sensors, speed, and RPM signals.
  • Maths channels and calculated values where supported by the device and Race Studio 3 configuration.
  • Compatible expansion for AiM SmartyCam and LCU-ONE Lambda Controller applications.

Display, Shift Lights and Alarms

The MXm uses a 268 × 128 pixel graphical LCD with seven configurable RGB backlight colours. Five RGB LEDs are available for shift-light patterns, and two RGB alarm LEDs can be configured for conditions, colours, flashing behaviour, warning text, and priority.

Custom pages let you choose which data is shown, the page style, measurement units, and end-of-scale values. At the end of a session, the device can recall summary information such as best laps and recorded maximum or minimum values where configured.

Wi-Fi and Race Studio 3

Wi-Fi can be used for supported configuration, calibration, and data-transfer workflows. Race Studio 3 is used for compatible device configuration, ECU drivers, channels, maths channels, session downloads, track information, and data analysis.
