Why Stilo Intercoms?

Stilo intercoms were born from frustration. Ludovico Fassitelli — an ex-Italian Rally Champion — was fed up with the poor communications available in rally cars and dedicated himself to building the best electronics and noise cancellation in the business. The result transformed rally communications worldwide, and the WRC has been testimony to this ever since: the vast majority of professional rally crews run Stilo helmets and intercoms.

As cars became louder — with high-revving Super 1600 and Super 2000 transmissions — Stilo developed Active Digital Noise Cancellation: the only range in the world offering this technology. No other manufacturer has been able to replicate it.

Important: Stilo intercoms can be used with other helmet brands via conversion cables, but all Stilo intercoms are optimised for Stilo helmet electronics. The full benefit of active digital noise cancellation is only realised when used with a Stilo helmet or a helmet fitted with Stilo electronics.

Analogue vs Digital — Which Do You Need?

Type Best For Noise Cancellation Models
Analogue Group N, less noisy cars, club level Good — passive filter Trophy 2, WRC 03, WRC 9V
Active Digital All levels — especially noisy cars Best available — active digital DG-20, DG-20 Raid, DG WL-10
Wireless Digital Crews wanting no helmet cables Best available — active digital DG WL-10 + WL Keys

The digital difference: With analogue electronics, there is only so far noise can be filtered before crew communication is also reduced. Digital separates the direct voice signal from surrounding noise, converts both to digital, applies the chosen noise cancellation level, and outputs clean audio — all in a millisecond. The result is a dramatic improvement in communication clarity in even the noisiest rally cars.

Stilo DG-20 Raid — Off-Road & X-Country

Built for X-Country, Raid, and Dirt racing — where vibration, dust, and temperature fluctuations are constant challenges. The DG-20 Raid uses a dedicated Signal Digital Analyser (SDA) filter for real-time ambient noise monitoring, with adjustable voice returns and microphone gain for tailored audio in exposed cockpit environments.

  • Digital Active Noise Cancellation with SDA filter
  • Integrated female helmet connection cables — no additional adaptors required
  • Adjustable voice returns and microphone gain — independently controlled

Stilo DG WL-10 — Wireless Digital Intercom

The world’s first wireless rally intercom. Based on Stilo’s active digital noise cancellation platform, the DG WL-10 eliminates helmet cables entirely — both crew members connect wirelessly via WL Keys plugged into their helmets. Wireless range up to 10 metres, allowing crew to exit the car with helmets on and still communicate.

  • Wireless connection — no helmet cables in the cockpit
  • Active Digital Noise Cancellation for both driver and co-driver
  • 4 noise cancellation levels — adjustable per crew member
  • Individual volume controls
  • Stage and Road modes — Bluetooth phone connectivity in road mode
