Building a Jeep Communication Setup
Depending on the selected kit, components may include a radio, intercom, interior mount, A-pillar, roll-bar or spare-tyre-carrier aerial bracket, antenna, harness and coax cable. Check each product's included components, connector type such as NMO or PL-259, cage dimensions and compatibility with the vehicle's accessories. A mounting position and antenna alone do not establish CB frequency suitability or radio legality.
For NZ or AU UHF CB operation, ask us for an appropriate locally certified CB radio, which we supply. Confirm the exact radio's certification, programming and relevant operating rules in the country of use. US-programmed and GMRS radios are not legal for NZ or AU operation. Do not assume JP1, GMR25, GMR45 or M1 Race Series is a locally certified CB radio merely because a model is mentioned with Jeep mounting equipment.
