The Simpson M61 Quick Release Helmet Anchors replace your existing HANS posts and allow the driver to release the FHR tethers with a single pull on the cord attached to the helmet. FIA 8858-2010 approved. Compatible with Simpson Hybrid FHR devices fitted with M61 dual-end tethers.

Need the full M61 upgrade? You'll also need the Simpson Hybrid QR M6 Tethers to complete the quick release conversion on an existing device.

Yes — you also need the Simpson Hybrid QR M6 Tethers. The anchors fit to the helmet; the tethers connect the FHR device to the anchors.
