AiM MyChron Yellow Temperature Extension Cable

This genuine AiM yellow extension cable extends a temperature sensor lead on MyChron M3, M4, and M5 loggers, letting the sensor reach further from the unit without re-terminating the factory cable.

Not compatible with the MyChron 6 or MyChron 5 2T model. If you have either of those, use the MyChron 6 2T extension cable instead.

Before ordering

  • Confirm you have a MyChron M3, M4, or M5 (not the 2T version) before ordering this cable.
  • Route the cable away from heat, abrasion, and moving components, and away from receivers to reduce interference.
  • Check the connection is secure and the temperature reading matches expectations before relying on it.

Will this work with my MyChron 6 or 5 2T?

No, this cable is not compatible with those models. Use the dedicated MyChron 6 2T extension cable instead, since the 2T units use a different connector arrangement.

What sensor does this extend?

It extends a temperature sensor lead (such as water or exhaust gas temperature) so the sensor can reach the mounting point without splicing the original cable.
