Rugged Radios Mobile Radio Cables — NZ & AU
Harris Race Radios™ is the Exclusive Official Authorised Distributor and Dealer for Rugged Radios in Australasia, supplying genuine mobile radio interface cables and fly leads for connecting mobile radios to compatible intercoms, harnesses and external devices. Options cover selected Motorola, Icom, Kenwood and Rugged Radios equipment. We hold NZ stock and ship to Australia.
Connector and wiring requirements vary by the exact radio and intercom models. Tell us the model numbers and your setup so our radio team can help identify a suitable cable before ordering, rather than assuming a universal fit.
Why Buy from Harris Race Radios™?
- Rugged Radios: Exclusive Official Authorised Distributor and Dealer for Australasia, with genuine products and NZ & AU warranty support.
- Rex Harris: qualified radio telecommunications engineer and official New Zealand RSM Approved Radio Certifier, with an AU ACMA radio-certifier role and motorsport radio experience dating from 1975.
- Aaron Harris: racing driver and professional race engineer, and a MotorSport NZ Licence Examiner for licences, not a certifier of helmets, racewear, FHR or HANS devices. Contact +64 27 449 9654 or aaron@harriscomms.co.nz.
- Practical advice on matching the cable to your radio, intercom and connectors.
Radio certification concerns radio equipment, not safety-equipment eligibility or permission to operate on every frequency or at every event.
