FAQs

Will the magnet damage my roof paint?
No, when fitted and removed correctly the base will not damage factory paintwork under normal use, though care should be taken on older or damaged panels.

Does this work on fibreglass or aluminium panels?
No, the MagLock relies on a steel roof panel for its magnetic hold and will not grip fibreglass, aluminium or carbon bodywork.

What antennas is it compatible with?
It's designed to pair with Rugged Radios roof-mount antenna setups; check your antenna's base fitting or get in touch if you're unsure.
