Rugged offers two styles of headsets: Behind-the-Head (BTH) or Over-the-Head (OTH) headset. The OTH design uses a thick metal band that goes over the top of your head, while the BTH design features a metal band that goes behind the head, and a Velcro strap that goes over your head. The BTH style is popular with race drivers and pit crews because it allows you to wear a hat or safety helmet over the Velcro head strap.
