The MyLaps X2 Transponder Holder is the correct mounting solution for X2 transponders across car, motorbike, motocross, and kart racing. A holder is included with every new X2 transponder — this page is for competitors who need a spare, want to install their transponder on a second vehicle, or have lost or damaged their original holder.

Please note: This holder is for X2 transponders only. It is not compatible with TR2, Classic, or Flex transponders. For TR2 holders, see the MyLaps TR2 Flex/Classic Transponder Holder.

Why Correct Mounting Matters

MyLaps transponders must be mounted no more than 60 cm above the ground and as vertically as possible to ensure reliable reads at the timing loop. An improvised or incorrect mount risks missed laps, incorrect results, or transponder damage. The X2 Holder is designed to position the unit correctly every time, with a secure clip that won't work loose under racing conditions.
