What is an AiM Solo? 

The AiM Solo is a compact, portable data logger designed for motorsports enthusiasts and professionals. It is a powerful tool that provides real-time data and analysis to improve driving performance on the track.

What are the Solo options? 

In the AiM Solo range they offer two options; the Solo 2 DL & the Solo 2. 

What is an AiM Solo 2? 

The Solo 2 uses GPS technology to track lap times, providing users with faster and more accurate location tracking. Customize your Solo 2 experience with the ability to select your preferred backlight color. They come with a comprehensive database of tracks right at your fingertips Stay ahead of the competition with predictive lap timing on the Solo 2. The solo 2 has integrated Wi-Fi connectivity as well.

What is an AiM Solo 2 DL? 

The GPS technology in the Solo 2 DL has all the same features as the Solo 2 with the added feature of ECU input. There are three connections you can choose when purchasing OBD || Connector, CANRS232 Connector or RPM Connector. This facilitates the extraction of data from the vehicle's ECU. The sampled data depends on the actual ECU but typically includes RPM, engine load, throttle position (TPS), oil/air/water temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, speed, gear, and lambda value (air/fuel ratio).
