Harris offers two styles of headsets: Behind-the-Head (BTH) or Over-the-Head (OTH) headset. The OTH design uses a thick metal band that goes over the top of your head. While the BTH design features a metal band that goes behind the head. And a Velcro strap that goes over your head. The OTH Type is popular pit crews. The BTH style is popular with pit crews because it allows you to wear a hat. Or safety helmet over the Velcro head strap.
